We have been planning this large-scale exhibition in Beijing for many years.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

I was supposed to go to Beijing to install the works too and be there for the opening of the show.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

However, due to an illness that was unforeseen even to me, I have had to undergo surgery and have since needed to stay in the hospital due to complications that arose.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As a result,I had to give up on my trip to Beijing. This has been a source of extreme disappointment.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Furthermore, without the end of the COVID-19 pandemic in sight, the installation and production team from Japan has had to quarantine in Dalian for three weeks.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Amidst the many challenges, M-WOODS has been strong in their determination to realize this exhibition without delays or cancellations. The team of a few dozen exceptional staff members and collaborators from China and Japan has done a perfect job of installing the works.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Almost all of the installation works that I have created over the last two decades are on display. I am truly honored that an exhibition of this scale has been realized in Beijing.<\/p>\n
